Snohomish County PUD Operations Center
This project consists of an approximately 32,000-square-foot office addition to an existing Operations Center complex.

The addition will accommodate the customer and employee growth that has occurred since the 1980 construction of the existing facility.
Major components of the project scope of work include the design and relocation of the District’s Energy Control Center (ECC) and the Data Center (DC), design and upgrades of UPS and emergency power systems, LEED rating for the new space and related energy efficiency upgrades, upgrades to seismic deficiencies in the existing building, renovation of the space vacated by the ECC and DC, and installation of a new map board in the new ECC.
The project brings many challenges, including the integration of the design and architecture of the new addition into the theme of the existing facility, and executing construction operations without disruption of power to PUD’s customers.
