Dykeman collaborated with the client to create a site that reflects the energy and vitality that they bring to their own business.

Sustainability, quality, and responsibility were all priorities of the client. The design concept focused on providing a “transparent” second floor set back. Our team juxtaposed the second floor plan over the first floor to maintain the familiar shape of Krispy Kreme, creating an outdoor deck facing north and west for the corporate offices, and a covered drive-through on the east elevation.

This open, exposed concept was in keeping with the spirit and character of the neighborhood, but of materials that are identified as a “Krispy Kreme” building.
