Bellingham Schools Receives Energy Rebate For Sehome High School

  • Jun 21, 2023

Energy efficiency is an important way in which we can achieve sustainability in our built environments.

Bellingham Public Schools has earned more than $41,000 from Cascade Natural Gas as a rebate for its new energy-efficient mechanical equipment, including motion-sensing faucets, high-efficiency boilers, and condensing hot water heaters.

This equipment is part of the overall effort to make Sehome High School a resource-conscious facility.

The equipment also allows the school to significantly reduce maintenance costs over time while maintaining a smaller environmental impact.
